The senior room shared some wonderful experiments and demonstrations with us, many of which were interactive and showed really good knowledge of the science and technology behind what they were doing.

The junior room focus was on transport, linked in with the November Aistear theme of 'The Mechanic'. We made little vehicles which are powered by the 'pull' force and collaboratively with the senior room pupils, rockets, powered by the 'push' force. It was great fun modifying the designs to see how to make the rocket and its blaster most effective so that it would fly further. We tested them out in the playground.
